Our webinars offer survivors a safe, flexible way to learn grounding skills, understand trauma, and connect with others — all without needing to attend a group in person. They’re one of the most accessible parts of our wellbeing offer and are ideal for survivors who prefer privacy, are nervous about groups, or face practical barriers to attending in person .

These online sessions are part of our hybrid wellbeing pathway and help make sure more survivors can access support in the way that works best for them.

What the webinars cover

Each webinar focuses on a single topic, with clear, practical strategies you can start using straight away.

Topics include:

  • grounding and stabilisation

  • sleep and rest

  • managing intrusive thoughts

  • understanding trauma and the body

  • getting ready for counselling

  • coping with triggers

  • emotional regulation and overwhelm

We’re also developing new webinars based on survivor feedback gathered through focus groups and surveys .

What to expect

Webinars last 60–90 minutes and usually include:

  • a calm, structured presentation

  • opportunities to contribute via chat (optional)

  • grounding breaks

  • downloadable handouts

  • the option to attend with cameras off, mics off, or anonymously

Sessions are run on Zoom and recorded (with attendee anonymity protected) to create a digital resource library for survivors who cannot attend live.

Why webinars matter

Webinars allow us to reach survivors who:

  • cannot travel to the city centre

  • have childcare or work commitments

  • feel anxious in groups

  • are neurodivergent and benefit from structured, low-demand formats

  • are housebound or disabled

This makes the wellbeing service genuinely hybrid and inclusive, expanding access without compromising safety or connection .
