Rape Crisis England and Wales: resources to help you understand some common reactions to sexual violence and develop skills to cope with them.

 

The Survivors Trust : a range of resources and information on supporting yourself and seeking support.

 

The Courage to be Me: An illustrated story about courage, self compassion and hope after rape or sexual abuse.

 

PODS (Positive Outcomes for Dissociative Survivors): an section of their website is dedicated to information and articles for survivors.

 

Self Compassion Blog: #365daysofcompassion is an online community sharing thoughts, reflections and information around compassion and mental wellbeing.

 

Headspace: Meditation and Sleep: Headspace is a guide to everyday mindfulness in just a few minutes a day.  Choose from hundreds of meditations on everything from managing stress and anxiety to sleeping well.

 

Moody Mood Tracker (an app for iphone only): Lets you track your moods and keep a private journal with just a few taps.  Log a mood and tag your activities, mood triggers and even the weather:

    We accept self referrals into our adult counselling service. Third-party referrals are not accepted into our Adult Counselling service at this time. Our children and young person's counselling service accepts referrals from professionals including (but not limited to) social workers, GPs and early help workers.

    Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (SRASAC) works to support anyone in their recovery from the emotional and psychological distress caused by trauma from rape, sexual violence or sexual abuse/exploitation whenever it happened in a persons’ life.
