This page is for SRASAC counselling clients who have received their email invitation to book a triage appointment. You can use the calendar at the bottom of the page to book a time with one of our triage counsellors.

If you are not currently on our triage list, and have not received an email asking you to book an appointment, then please don't book an appointment below, as it will only be cancelled, and this costs us precious time and resources. If you want to access the counselling service - then you first need to fill out our registration form


Important Information 

  • Triage appointments last 15-20 minutes and take place via telephone. A triage counsellor will ring you on the number you provide us with at the time you have chosen. 

  • The purpose of a triage call is to understand more about your current life situation. We will explore together if this is a good time for you to get the most out of SRASAC counselling and if we are the right service for you. We do not ask you about traumatic events or your experiences of sexual violence or abuse, as the triage call is too short to do this safely. You will have space to talk more about these things later in the counselling process. 

  • Your triage appointment needs to be in a confidential space - so please choose a time where you can have a personal and private conversation - ideally not when you are not at work, out in public, have childcare commitments, or anything else that could affect your attention or privacy.

  • If you need to change your appointment, please contact us on 0114 2412766 to rearrange it. We need a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations/reschedules, but the sooner the better, as this frees up the slot for someone else to use.  

  • If you miss your triage appointment, you will be removed from the counselling waiting list and will not be able to refer back into the service for 6 months, so it is vital that you choose a time and date that you are able to attend. 

  • Once you've completed your booking, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address to confirm the booking is successful. We will also send a reminder email and text 2 hours before your appointment.

Triage Appointment Calendar: 

If you have received the triage invitation email, then simply choose a time slot which is convenient to you on the calendar below. 

You may be asked to allow 3rd Party cookies to use the calendar, please click 'allow' to gain access.  

Click on the slot you want, and then fill in the booking form to complete your booking. Green slots are available, red slots are already taken.
