In March I am going to be running my first half marathon (and by far the furthest I will have ever run!) for SRASAC (Sheffield rape and sexual assault centre). I would be grateful for any donations, however small, for this wonderful charity who mean so much to me!
We are two Year 8's who would like to raise money for SRASAC (Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre) because we want to help out with any people who have experienced sexual abuse, assault or rape, and help them to feel safer.
To help support services that have been extremely beneficial for some of our members.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the ECP Committee is hosting a Lunch & Learn session and a fundraising bake sale. We’ll be welcoming a panel of colleagues from across the office who will share their experiences, perspectives, and reflections,🧁 We’ll also be holding a charity bake sale on the day to raise funds for two women’s organisation. Any contributions to the bake sale are very welcome!
Fundraising in support of those who have been affected by spiking on a night out and for those who have been a victim of sexual abuse in any way!
Following the large increase in spiking incidents over recent weeks both in Sheffield and across the country, we are looking to promote and support this essential charity, as well as help awareness about local services relating to rape and sexual abuse.
Each year a raise money for a charity close to my own heart. Without the support of this charity I wouldn't of been able to get through the last year
The work that SRASAC does is so valuable to supporting people going through the worst time of their lives, and helping them to rebuild after abuse. We are a sports club with young members, so alongside fundraising this effort will raise awareness within the university community of services such as SRASAC, which would make a huge difference. We were made aware of SRASAC after one of our members was assaulted, and having recovered, wanted to raise money for people going through the same thing.
The support SRASAC gives helps to rebuild the lives of those who may not have thought it could ever be rebuilt. It challenges, empowers and understands.
I believe the services you provide are amazing and really helpful especially because you try to help children so young.
Hello! We’re Sheffield Medics Netball Club, a university of Sheffield sports society and this year we’re fundraising for SRASAC! They’re an amazing charity who do important work, and it’s a cause close to our hearts and one we’re passionate about! We can’t wait to get started!
