I want to support the amazing work done by SRASAC
Your donation will help us carry on our vital work. We promote the needs and rights of people who have experienced sexual abuse, rape, and all forms of sexual violence, helping them get access to specialist support.
I'm fundraising for Sheffield Rape Crisis because they do an incredible job, and because the pandemic has made it even more crucial that they get support to provide essential services for survivors.
Fundraising in support of those who have been affected by spiking on a night out and for those who have been a victim of sexual abuse in any way!
We are fundrasing as we are supporting the movement sheffield’s night in to raise awarness for all the spiking, assaults, harassment etc going on.
Following the large increase in spiking incidents over recent weeks both in Sheffield and across the country, we are looking to promote and support this essential charity, as well as help awareness about local services relating to rape and sexual abuse.
There is not enough awareness for charities such as SRASAC. With important aims and values, they need more recognition for the important work they do and the lives they help.
I will be running/walking 85,000 metres (85km) in the following 4 weeks to represent each one of the 85,000 women who experience sexual assault, rape or attempted rape each year ( MoJ, ONS, Home Office 2013).
I am raising money for Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (SRASAC), a local charity which offers a safe space for women who struggle to find one elsewhere, in hopes that one day society will change from victim blaming to educating and addressing the crime.
