24 Hour Book Reading Challenge Donate SRASAC provides support for those of all ages going through the criminal justice system from reporting incidents to the police through the investigations and to trial, via their Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) service. They also provide specialist Counselling to Young People in Sheffield aged 4-18 and Adult Counselling.Going through the Adult Counselling myself I experienced unparalleled kindness, acceptance and understanding. I was taught to challenge the thoughts of shame and self blame, and given tools to help with processing trauma and recovered memories. The services provided helps to build back people's lives and recover who they are as a person. It is both life changing and life saving.Every donation helps SRASAC to continue to their work and advocate for those who need it most.My fundraising challenge will be to read for 24 hours straight from 12 midday 11/09/2025 until 12 midday 12/09/2025.Below is an example of how each donation can help SRASAC continue their work:£1 helps to post letters out to clients who don’t have access to the internet.£10 pays for a child’s support pack (including sweets, activity books, colouring pens or a journal.£45 pays for one counselling session for one person£270 pays for 6 sessions of well being work with a young person to help them feel more stable and safe.£540 pays for 12 sessions of counselling.£6,000 pays for the rent for one of their rooms to provide at least 500 sessions of support. The support SRASAC gives helps to rebuild the lives of those who may not have thought it could ever be rebuilt. It challenges, empowers and understands. Sara Sivan-Whitehouse Manage Cookie Preferences
